Database Client

Connect to ten database engines, browse and edit data, and run queries.

Connect

  1. Run DevSnip Pro: Database Client, or open it from the Database section of the sidebar.
  2. Click + in the Connections panel.
  3. Either fill in the Form (type, host, port, user, password, database, TLS) or switch to Connection string and paste a URL β€” DATABASE_URL=… lines and jdbc: URLs are accepted.
  4. Press Test connection to see the server version and round-trip time.
  5. Press Save & connect. The password is stored in your OS keychain.

Redis / Valkeyredis://… or rediss://…

Browse and edit data

  • Expand a connection to see its schemas, tables, views, collections or keys.
  • The data grid pages, sorts, searches and filters β€” including MongoDB filters like { age: { $gt: 21 } } and Redis patterns like user:*.
  • Edit rows with the type-aware editor (NULL, DEFAULT), MongoDB documents as Extended JSON (ObjectId(), ISODate()), and every Redis type with TTLs.
  • Structure shows columns with types, keys and defaults, plus the table’s indexes.

Run queries

  • Open a query tab: SQL, T-SQL, PL/SQL, mongosh-style or Redis commands depending on the engine.
  • Press Ctrl/Cmd+Enter to run the selection (or the whole editor). Format tidies the query.
  • Errors are underlined where the server found them. A long query can be cancelled on the server.
  • Sort and filter results, then copy them as JSON or CSV.

Heads upMark a connection Read-only to refuse every write. Destructive statements always ask first, and dropping a table asks you to type its name.
